However dull and dingy the shop may have appeared in the eyes of most people, to one person it was the most delightful spot on earth, and that person was none other than the owner of this collection of literature, some of which was remarkable for its antiquity if nothing else.

Bartholomew Stranges whole world was in his shop, beyond it he had no ambition, no affection, no desires.  He loved his books simply for their own sakes, not for what he got by them, indeed it cost him such a pang to part with them, that if it had not been a necessity he would have refused to do so.  Often if anyone wished to purchase a favourite book he would put a large price on it so as to keep it in his own possession, and be willing to wear the scantiest clothes, and live on the plainest food, if by this means he could keep his precious treasures.....

we now only charge upto 2.79GBP for any UK orders upto 2kg
and for orders outside the UK
we now only charge upto 5.62GBP for Surface Mail orders upto 1kg
and upto 5.58GBP for Airmail European orders upto 1kg and upto 10.03GBP Airmail International orders upto 1kg

Remember these prices are for the total weight of your order and not per book.

All Fiction and Childrens Books have seen a change to the pricing system.  Fiction are mostly 1.00 GBP for paperbacks and 1.49 GBP for hardbacks.  Childrens Books are mostly 0.50 GBP for paperbacks and 0.75 GBP for hardbacks.

Large parcels, depending on size, can be delivered cheaper than Royal Mail rates. 
Please select the courier option when ordering.   Alternatively for £4.49 your parcel can be picked up from your local neighbourhood store (you can find your local store by going onto www.collectplus.co.uk ) this can also be arranged - please email prior to order.
